The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Albert Nerken School of Engineering is searching for a visiting professor who has an interest and expertise in teaching undergraduate- and graduate-level mechanical engineering courses. The candidate should be able and willing to teach broadly across the undergraduate mechanical engineering curriculum. Refer to our course listings for more information. Exceptional candidates from all areas of expertise are encouraged to apply. Additional consideration will be given to those capable of creating opportunities for students at the intersection of mechanical engineering and other disciplines or with expertise in areas related to aerospace, automotive, acoustics, sustainability, or design and manufacturing.
The candidate should possess a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field or a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and at least 10 years of experience in a related field and demonstrate effective teaching potential.
