Thomas H. Glasser (ME'51) died peacefully in Saratoga Hospital on Saturday, January 21, 2023. The youngest of six children, Tom was born to Joseph and Elizabeth Glasser in February of 1927 in Hicksville, New York. He grew up in Brooklyn and attended St. Martin's Elementary School, Regis High School, and Cooper Union, where he received a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering Degree in 1951.   • Founded by inventor, industrialist and philanthropist Peter Cooper in 1859, The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art offers education in art, architecture and engineering, as well as courses in the humanities and social sciences.
