Jadyn Hammond, Student Trustee

Jadyn Hammond is a senior in the School of Art with an interdisciplinary focus whose academic and creative pursuits weave together themes of documentation, community engagement, shared experiences, collage, and collaborative art practices. Her interest in curatorial design further reflects her passion for creating spaces that foster collective dialogue and artistic exchange.

Beyond the classroom, Jadyn has been deeply involved in student life and governance, currently serving as one of two student representatives on the college’s Board of Trustees. A dedicated advocate for her peers, she previously worked as a Resident Assistant for two years, cultivating inclusive and supportive living environments. Jadyn also plays an active role in welcoming new students to the college, occasionally guiding prospective students on campus tours.

Through her involvement in both administrative leadership and creative practice, Jadyn strives to demonstrate a commitment to bridging diverse disciplines with a passion for fostering meaningful connections.

  • Peter Cooper wanted his graduates to acquire the technical mastery and entrepreneurial skills, enrich their intellects and spark their creativity, and develop a sense of social justice that would translate into action.
