We invite employers offering full-time, part-time, internship, and freelance opportunities in architecture, art, and engineering disciplines to post positions through Cooper Union's job board, 12twenty.

Please Note:

  • The Cooper Union does not offer academic credit for internship experiences.
  • The Center for Career Development is committed to ensuring fair pay for student’s work at internship sites. As a result, our office does not promote unpaid internships to the student body.
  • Unfortunately, the Center for Career Development is not able to accommodate job postings from third-party recruiters.
  • The Cooper Union is comprised of three schools: the School of Architecture, the School of Art, and the School of Engineering. While we recognize that students may explore opportunities beyond their primary fields of study, Cooper Union’s 12twenty platform is curated to align closely with students’ majors. This focused approach ensures relevance and depth, while acknowledging that a wide range of additional job boards are available to support broader career interests.

Thank you for posting with us!

Other Ways to Recruit Students

  • Founded by inventor, industrialist and philanthropist Peter Cooper in 1859, The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art offers education in art, architecture and engineering, as well as courses in the humanities and social sciences.

  • “My feelings, my desires, my hopes, embrace humanity throughout the world,” Peter Cooper proclaimed in a speech in 1853. He looked forward to a time when, “knowledge shall cover the earth as waters cover the great deep.”

  • From its beginnings, Cooper Union was a unique institution, dedicated to founder Peter Cooper's proposition that education is the key not only to personal prosperity but to civic virtue and harmony.

  • Peter Cooper wanted his graduates to acquire the technical mastery and entrepreneurial skills, enrich their intellects and spark their creativity, and develop a sense of social justice that would translate into action.
