Architecture Career Night 2025

Each fall and spring, The Center for Career Development invites innovative employers to join us on campus to engage directly with our talented students from the School of Engineering, the School of Architecture, and the School of Art. These events provide not only prime recruitment opportunities but also allow you to contribute meaningfully to students’ career development.

By participating, your organization can showcase exciting career paths, identify strong candidates for internships and full-time roles, and build lasting connections with emerging professionals who bring creativity, technical expertise, and fresh perspectives to the workforce.

Fall & Spring: School of Engineering Job & Internship Fair
Our largest career event, held twice yearly during Tuesday club hours (12:00–2:00 PM) in the historic Great Hall, regularly draws over 150 students. Regional employers—and many alumni—participate, eager to connect with students from the departments they once called home.

Other Ways to Recruit Students

  • Founded by inventor, industrialist and philanthropist Peter Cooper in 1859, The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art offers education in art, architecture and engineering, as well as courses in the humanities and social sciences.

  • “My feelings, my desires, my hopes, embrace humanity throughout the world,” Peter Cooper proclaimed in a speech in 1853. He looked forward to a time when, “knowledge shall cover the earth as waters cover the great deep.”

  • From its beginnings, Cooper Union was a unique institution, dedicated to founder Peter Cooper's proposition that education is the key not only to personal prosperity but to civic virtue and harmony.

  • Peter Cooper wanted his graduates to acquire the technical mastery and entrepreneurial skills, enrich their intellects and spark their creativity, and develop a sense of social justice that would translate into action.
