About the Center
The Center for Writing and Learning offers support and feedback on all types of written and spoken communication for the students, staff, and faculty at The Cooper Union. Writing Associates are experienced classroom instructors with advanced degrees and a special interest in reading and writing pedagogy. The Center's mission is to improve student learning across the curriculum and to support faculty in the teaching of reading and writing.

Move and Faculty Development Programming
The Center for Writing opened in its new space in the Library as the Center for Writing and Learning. While the Center continues the work it has long performed with students as The Center for Writing, it has expanded its efforts to include faculty development with the goal of improving student learning throughout the college.
