The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art – Adjunct Faculty (Part-time) for the History and Theory of Art 
The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the Cooper Union is currently accepting submissions from qualified candidates to teach elective courses in the History and Theory of Art curriculum. We especially seek faculty with expertise in any of the following areas of art history and theory: global topics and approaches, emphasizing non-western and/ or Indigenous art and visual cultures of any era; late 20th-21st century art practices especially considering issues of ecologies and environmentalism. A demonstrated record of undergraduate teaching is preferred.

Qualifications:
ABD or PhD degree in area(s) of experience or equivalent and demonstrated strong teaching record preferred. Salary and rank are commensurate with experience. This is a unionized position.
