Online Job & Internship Board  [Sign Up for 12Twenty]

Recently graduated alumni are encouraged to take advantage of 12twenty, Cooper Union’s online job and recruiting platform. This resource is designed to support your transition from student to professional by connecting you with a wide range of opportunities tailored to early career candidates.

By creating an account on 12twenty, alumni can access job and internship postings across a variety of industries and disciplines. While the majority of listings are geared toward internships, entry-level roles, and early career positions, the platform is regularly updated and offers a valuable starting point for launching or advancing your professional journey.

To get started, visit 12Twenty and follow the instructions to create an alumni account. If you have any questions or need assistance navigating the platform, please feel free to reach out to us at career@cooper.edu—we’re happy to help.

Recruiting Events

Most on-campus recruiting activities—such as career fairs, employer information sessions, and on-campus interviews—are primarily designed for current students. These events typically focus on summer internships and entry-level hiring opportunities, and as such, access is generally limited to enrolled students.

However, we understand that recent graduates are often still navigating the early stages of their professional journey. When possible, we do allow recent alumni to participate in select career development activities, depending on space, employer preferences, and the nature of the event.

If you’re a recent graduate and are interested in a particular event or opportunity, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at career@cooper.edu. While we can’t guarantee access to every activity, we’re happy to explore what may be available and suggest alternative resources or support as needed.

Alumni Affairs & Development

  • Founded by inventor, industrialist and philanthropist Peter Cooper in 1859, The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art offers education in art, architecture and engineering, as well as courses in the humanities and social sciences.

  • “My feelings, my desires, my hopes, embrace humanity throughout the world,” Peter Cooper proclaimed in a speech in 1853. He looked forward to a time when, “knowledge shall cover the earth as waters cover the great deep.”

  • From its beginnings, Cooper Union was a unique institution, dedicated to founder Peter Cooper's proposition that education is the key not only to personal prosperity but to civic virtue and harmony.

  • Peter Cooper wanted his graduates to acquire the technical mastery and entrepreneurial skills, enrich their intellects and spark their creativity, and develop a sense of social justice that would translate into action.
