The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Albert Nerken School of Engineering is searching for adjunct faculty who have an interest and expertise in teaching undergraduate- and graduate-level mechanical engineering courses.

The candidate should possess a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field or a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and at least 10 years of experience in a related field and demonstrate effective teaching potential.

Candidates with expertise and experience in manufacturing, design and prototyping, aerospace, automotive, whole building design, building energy modeling software, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design, sustainability, acoustics, or design and manufacturing are encouraged to apply.   Additional consideration will be given to those capable of creating opportunities for students at the intersection of mechanical engineering and other disciplines, including Art and Architecture.   Other candidates well qualified to teach core courses or elective courses in other areas will be considered.  Refer to our course listings for more information.
