Please join us for a special Los Angeles-area gathering to meet Cooper Union President Steve McLaughlin at The Broad Museum, designed by Liz Diller AR’79. Cooper parent Rich Cherry PA’30 is leading the construction of the new expansion.

The reception will be preceded by an optional museum highlights tour showcasing The Broad’s iconic architecture and celebrated collection. Guests will encounter iconic works by Roy Lichtenstein, Andy Warhol, Jeff Koons, and celebrated Los Angeles based artists like Mark Bradford and Ed Ruscha. Plus, enjoy exclusive access to Yayoi Kusama’s immersive Infinity Mirrored Room, a dazzling finale to an unforgettable visit. The tour will begin at 4 p.m. and costs $25 per person.


 

  • Founded by inventor, industrialist and philanthropist Peter Cooper in 1859, The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art offers education in art, architecture and engineering, as well as courses in the humanities and social sciences.
