The Coretta Scott King Book Awards Round Table launched the Ashley Bryan Video Tribute on September 15, 2022 on Zoom.

The virtual event provided deep insight on the life of CSK award-winning author and illustrator Ashley Bryan A'46. Attendees were shown video tributes from authors and illustrators including Jason Reynolds, Daniel Minter, Nikki Giovanni, Kwame Alexander, Jan Spivey Gilchrist, and Bryan himself. The video tributes was followed by a discussion and Q&A session.

  • Founded by inventor, industrialist and philanthropist Peter Cooper in 1859, The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art offers education in art, architecture and engineering, as well as courses in the humanities and social sciences.
