SEA2M3 Center is Finalist for Excellence in Innovation Award

The Cooper Union and its SEA2M3 (Sustainable Engineering, Architecture and Art - Materials, Manufacturing and Minimalism) Center led by Prof. Cumberbatch were selected as one of the finalists for the Phi Kappa Phi 2018 Excellence in Innovation Award. This award recognizes colleges and universities for their achievements in finding powerful answers to important challenges and issues around the world.
The portfolio presented three projects that are being worked on at the SEA2M3 Center: RAGS (Reuse of Available Garbage for Shelter), RAMESSES (Reuse of Available Material, Energy, Structures and Supplies for Emergency Shelter), and SociaLite.
