The Office of Admission serves as an initial point of contact for prospective students. Our team is available for individual and group meetings, virtual information sessions, and school visits. You can also find us at a number of college fairs.

Enrollment Marketing and Communications Team

The Enrollment Marketing and Communications team develops all print and digital materials related to enrollment, in partnership with our in-house designers. We work with a small team of partners on all photos and videos, and our students produce content for our social media accounts.

Registrar Team

The Office of the Registrar maintains official student records among other responsibilities across academic departments and community wide. Please contact our office if you need a name or address change, a copy of your transcript, or to pick up your diploma.

Student Financial Services Team

The Office of Student Financial Services provides assistance and resources related to financial aid, scholarships, loans, payment plan options, and other questions about financing your college education. We are here to help answer your questions.

  • Founded by inventor, industrialist and philanthropist Peter Cooper in 1859, The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art offers education in art, architecture and engineering, as well as courses in the humanities and social sciences.

  • “My feelings, my desires, my hopes, embrace humanity throughout the world,” Peter Cooper proclaimed in a speech in 1853. He looked forward to a time when, “knowledge shall cover the earth as waters cover the great deep.”

  • From its beginnings, Cooper Union was a unique institution, dedicated to founder Peter Cooper's proposition that education is the key not only to personal prosperity but to civic virtue and harmony.

  • Peter Cooper wanted his graduates to acquire the technical mastery and entrepreneurial skills, enrich their intellects and spark their creativity, and develop a sense of social justice that would translate into action.
