You're Hired! Engineering Career Fair at Cooper
On Tuesday, March 1, more than 40 institutions were represented at a career fair in the Great Hall including MTA-NYC Transit, Bloomberg, AECOM, Mini-Circuits and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute among others. Approximately 250 students from all engineering disciplines and years attended the fair to get information from a wide range of schools and companies—government agencies to small firms to worldwide corporations. Jolie Harris Woodson, Director of Engineering Career Development and Outreach, said, "We're incredibly happy to facilitate meaningful connections between students and a variety of employers and graduate schools. We're especially thankful for the Cooper alumni who return to recruit the next generation of professionals. The Career Fair serves as a pipeline to professional opportunities, but it is also an opportunity for students to learn about new organizations and industries while developing confidence in their communication skills."
