Academic Year 2022–23 Tuition & Fees

The Cooper Union will not be increasing undergraduate tuition for the 2022 – 2023 academic year.

It has been 4 years since the last undergraduate tuition increase. There will be a modest 3% graduate school tuition increase due to rising program costs.

It is a priority and founding principle of The Cooper Union that education is accessible to all members of society without regard to gender, race, religion, or economic status. We are committed to honoring this mission and to ensuring no student is deterred from attending The Cooper Union based on financial circumstances.

Peter Cooper believed education to be key not only to personal prosperity but to civic virtue and harmony. The Cooper Union is a place where thinkers, builders, artists, activists, and dreamers thrive and contribute to New York City and the world in large and small ways—being of this world and for this world.
