Part Time Technical Assistant, Film/Video

Job Description:        

  • Assist students and faculty with equipment and facilities
  • Check in/out equipment to students and instruct them in its proper use
  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting and inventory for all equipment
  • Maintain the labs and classrooms as a clean and safe operating environment
  • Carry out miscellaneous tasks as  requested by the Supervisor on Senior Technical Assistant

Qualifications:      

  • A working knowledge of the following software: Final Cut Pro Studio, FCPX, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Pro Tools
  • Familiarity with Apple G5 & Mac Pro computer hardware and operating systems, as well as various audio/video hardware and formats
  • Experience working with students of varying levels of technical abilities
