Job Description

The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, an all-scholarship, highly selective institution offering professional baccalaureate degrees in Architecture, Art and Engineering, seeks Assistant Professor, tenure-track, in a social science.

Qualifications

Recent Ph.D. in one of the social sciences, including but not limited to Anthropology, Economics, Geography, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology. Commitment to teaching in the Humanities and Social Sciences core curriculum is essential; demonstrated interest in an area outside Europe and North America as well as competence in quantitative methods is highly desirable. Position to start September 2012.
