Introduction to Watercolor Workshop
The unique properties of transparent watercolor make possible a visual quality that is unattainable with other media. Students will be introduced to a wide range of paint application and color formation that will allow them to use watercolor as a means of personal expression. Students will be given exercises dealing with color theory, still life and the landscape allowing the exploration of various issues of visual representation and abstraction in painting with watercolor. More advanced students wishing to pursue self-generated projects will be able to receive individualized instruction.
Meets Weekly: Saturday, Sunday 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Students MUST enroll 5 business days prior to the course start date, The final day to register is February 2nd., students enrolling after this date will pay a $15 late fee.
Please read: Please bring $20 materials fee, payable to the instructor, to the first class. Students MUST enroll 5 business days prior to the course start date, the final day to register without paying a $15 late fee for all classes in the Summer 2017 semester is May 22nd.
