Composition for Painters

Paint

Set of paints of your choice (whatever colors you have on hand – extensive discussion of colors for complete palette will be discussed on first day). Water Color , Gouache or acrylic.

Palette

Pad of Disposable paper palettes (for Acrylics or Gouache)
     Metal, plastic for water color or gouache

Brushes

Your choice plus one inexpensive large flat brush at least 2” wide

Small drawing pad about 12”x15”  (NOT newsprint)

2 Sheet of Arches Water Color Paper
140#  22”x30”  hot press, cold press  OR  rough

2  sheets Illustration board  or rigid matt board  (black or white, approximately 15”x20” or larger

Matt knife or exacto knife to cut board

Photographs  (5 or more ) or something you want to paint

Pencil and eraser 

Ruler

3 water containers

Rags or paper towels
