Kay Gabriel is a writer and researcher. She completed her PhD in Classics at Princeton University in 2020. Kay has taught for NYU, the Prison Teaching Initiative, the Poetry Project at St. Mark's Church, and the Bard Microcollege at Brooklyn Public Library. With Andrea Abi-Karam, she co-edited We Want It All: An Anthology of Radical Trans Poetics (Nightboat, 2020), and she's the author of Kissing Other People or the House of Fame (Rosa Press, 2021) and A Queen in Bucks County (Nightboat, 2022). Her research targets tragedy, adaptation, contemporary poetry and poetics, and trans studies. She lives in Queens.
