Are you new to painting? Have you painted before, but never outside? Or are you a seasoned artist looking for a new challenge? This class will meet every student at his or her starting point-- with individually tailored attention as we cover basic painting techniques, compositional and material strategies, and conceptual approaches to painting from observation. We will use various sites around New York City, with bold and exciting architectural and landscape elements, as our focus.

Meets Weekly: Sunday 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Students MUST enroll 5 business days prior to the course start date, The final day to register is February 2nd., students enrolling after this date will pay a $15 late fee.
