The Albert Nerken School of Engineering at The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art seeks outstanding candidates for a tenure-track faculty position in electrical engineering, in the field of electronics. The successful candidate will be dedicated to teaching and mentoring undergraduate students in a rigorous academic environment, and engaging undergraduate and master's students in state-of-the-art research activities.
The Cooper Union, located in the heart of New York City, is a highly selective, primarily undergraduate institution offering bachelor's and master's degrees in engineering, as well as degrees in art and architecture. The curriculum is rigorous, analytical, and project-oriented. Faculty play a critical role in preparing students to join an alumni community including many that pursue graduate degrees, engage with the start-up tech community, work on cutting edge technology, join the mdical profession, and generally lead in their field of endeavor.
A Ph.D. in electrical engineering is required. Submit a C.V., statements of teaching and research, and contact information of at least three references to firstname.lastname@example.org.
