Alumni Roof Terrace
An open and expansive outdoor space on the 8th floor of 41 Cooper Square, the Alumni Roof Terrace is an urban oasis with spectacular views of the New York City skyline. The Terrace bears the engraved names of alumni whose generous contributions helped to make Cooper Union's new academic building a reality.
Over 600 alumni supported the Alumni Roof Terrace Campaign, donating nearly $2.8 million. Since opening in 2009, the Terrace has become a vital part of life at the college as a popular gathering place for alumni, students, parents and friends.
The Alumni Roof Terrace Campaign officially closed on December 31, 2011. Cooper is currently calculating the final campaign totals and preparing to engrave the names of new donors in spring 2012.
The Cooper Union extends heartfelt thanks to the many alumni who supported the Alumni Roof Terrace Campaign. We are truly grateful for your wonderful generosity.
