Open Houses and Tours, Fall 2015

Registration for Fall 2015 Open Houses is now open!

- School of Architecture Open House, Sunday, November 15th

- School of Art Portfolio Reviews, Friday, November 6th, 13th, and 20th, and December 4th

- School of Engineering Preview Day, Tuesday, November 10th

Please see below for regular tour dates for each school. 



The School of Architecture hosts small group tours during the academic year. Pre-registration is required for these tours. Please contact The School of Architecture Office at (212) 353-4220 or to register and for further information.


Tours during the fall semester will take place Mondays and Fridays at 1pm beginning in September. These are separate from the Portfolio Review Days. You may sign up for a fall semester tour here

The Cooper Union actively participates in events sponsored by The National Portfolio Day Association across the US and Canada. You can view a list of the events Cooper Union representatives will attend for the 2015-2016 school year here

The School of Art also hosts on-campus portfolio reviews in the fall. These open houses are the best time to visit the School of Art. You may register for as many of the dates as you wish. If, due to religious observance, you are unable to attend a portfolio review on a Friday afternoon/evening, we can make alternative arrangements for you. Please contact us at You are encouraged to bring your sketchbook and other original pieces, rather than a laptop, flash drive, etc. We cannot guarantee access to Wi-Fi for you. 

We welcome you to visit our events and exhibitions as well, which are open to the public unless otherwise specified.


The School of Engineering hosts small tours for prospective engineering students and their families. Registration is required.
