Haitham Abdullah studied art and art history in Baghdad, Paris, Saint Petersberg, and New York. He holds an M.A. in art history, an M.F.A. in painting and printmaking, and lectures at City College of New York, Fashion Institute of Technology, and the School of Visual Arts.
Founded by inventor, industrialist and philanthropist Peter Cooper in 1859, The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art offers education in art, architecture and engineering, as well as courses in the humanities and social sciences.
