41 Cooper Square
Designed by Pritzker Prize winner Thom Mayne of Morphosis, the new academic building at 41 Cooper Square has transformed life on campus since its completion in 2009. This 175,000-square-foot academic facility serves as an elegant, inviting space where students from Cooper Union’s three schools can converge, collaborate and learn from one another. The building houses state-of-the-art classroom and lab facilities, a stunning art gallery and vibrant community spaces. A leading structure in green design, the building is the first academic facility in New York City to achieve platinum LEED certification.
Cooper Union honors generous donors who have supported the new academic building by naming spaces in their honor. Visit the following pages to learn more about these extraordinary opportunities to celebrate your connection to Cooper.
