Mark is a seasoned higher education professional with vast experience in the field of enrollment management and student affairs.  His career includes senior leadership positions in both the U.S. and Canada.  He has overseen a range of functions including admissions, marketing, financial aid, student accounts, registrar, retention, student success and others.  He comes to us from The New School where he served as Vice President for Strategic Enrollment Management.    Previously, Mark served as [Vice President for Enrollment] at Berklee College of Music and [Vice President for Enrollment and Student Affairs] at the San Francisco Art Institute.  Mark has also held positions at McKendree University and the Illinois School of Professional Pyschology.

Mark is a frequent presenter and consultant to a range of organizations on enrollment and student affairs subjects with a particular focus on comprehensive enrollment planning, predictive modeling/forecasting, retention, student success and diversity issues.  In addition, Mark’s areas of expertise include staff development, diversity training, financial aid, and the development of campus-wide systems for student success and retention.  His international experience is extensive and includes formulation and execution of major strategic initiatives in Asia, Europe and South America. 

Mark is a graduate of Mount Allison University and the University of Windsor, both in his native Canada. He is also an accomplished songwriter and lyricist.
