Introduction to Knitting

Materials for ALL classes:
One pair of (size 8 or 9 or similar) bamboo knitting needles (metal or plastic are fine too).
One skein or ball of a light-colored (non-white) NON-FUZZY yarn (dk or worsted weight). This color/texture recommendation will allow you to easily see your beautiful work as it grows into fabric.
One crochet hook (size G or H or similar).

For subsequent classes:
Instructor will provide a list of additional materials (double pointed needles, darning needles, more yarn) and where to purchase them for further class projects. If it is difficult for students to find these items, materials may be purchased from the instructor (if possible, contact instructor in advance for this in order to have the necessary supplies at the first class—at the very least, I will have something which you may borrow during class time).
